The Mandela Catalogue is an analog horror web series created by Alex Kister and released on a YouTube channel with the name of the creator. The series takes place in the titular Mandela County in Wisconsin, where entities known as "alternates", which can mimic people's voices and appearances and use psychological techniques to induce their victims to commit suicide,[1] have been terrorizing the community of Mandela (and possibly the world at large).

As the series progresses, it becomes apparent that The Mandela Catalogue occurs in an alternate universe derived from Christian mythology in which the "alternates" are demons led by Satan following the overthrow of God and the prevention of Jesus' sacrifice. The series gained popularity in 2021 after a number of YouTubers posted videos covering it. As of February 2023, the series has 12 videos across 2 "acts" and 4 "volumes".[2][3] Two indie games inspired by the series have been created, titled Maple County and Assessment Examination, respectively.[4][5]
