GeoSciML or Geosciences Markup Language is a Geographic Markup Language that can store iformation about rock types, fossils, strike and dip and other measurements. It was created in an effort to make a universal geological markup language. It will be used in the OneGeology project, an effort to create a geological map ofthe entire Earth.
