Rev. vs Revd

Presbyterian worship is the page I was referring to, which doesn't seem to fit the criteria you mentioned :). I've hardly ever seen "Revd", but see "Rev." fairly often. I move in Reformed Presbyterian circles, so that may have something to do with that. Also, just as an "observed usage" observation (I'm not one to disagree with Fowler), the main place I see "Rev." without "the" is in non-sentence contexts, such as lists.
