Marianne Williamson 2024 presidential campaign

Marianne Williamson, a author, spiritual activist, and candidate for the Democratic Party presidential nomination in 2020, announced her campaign for the 2024 United States presidential election in a interview on February 23, 2023. Williamson is the first candidate to be a major candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, due to President Biden not yet announcing if he will seek re-election. She is the first female candidate since the formation of the primary system in 1912 to seek the nomination twice against a Democratic president.
