I am a Distinguished Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder in the Leeds Business School. From 2022-23 I am the Executive Director of the nonprofit Marketing Science Institute, the world's foremost academic-industry think tank in the field of marketing. In the past, I have edited wikipedia pages about scientific topics and scholars related to my own expertise. It is better for the accuracy of those pages if they are created and edited by experts in the related fields.

I have also created stub pages for faculty at my own university. My goal for creating and posting pages about Leeds professors is to highlight their research and publications briefly as stub pages so that other scholars in the Wikipedia community can add to those pages and build them out. As noted above, I have done the same for pages about scholars in my field at other universities.

I do work for the University of Colorado, but anything I do for Wikipedia is not paid work and is not a part of any job responsibility. I am doing this on my own as a contribution to the community in much the same way as I donate my time to service to my field of business via journal reviewing or writing tenure and promotion letters.
