Cocone is a Japanese-headquartered company whose main business is avatar creation and styling. Cocone was founded in September 2008 by Chira Hyun[1].
Cocone employs over 1,100 people in 7 countries worldwide. Cocone has built a broad portfolio of award-winning apps[2] and supporting technology to help people express themselves via digital worlds (metaverses), from creating unique fashion looks to styling your avatar and participating in Peer-to-Peer (P2P) marketplaces.
The company develops avatar-led apps based on social networks, such as the character-themed app "Pokecolo"[3] and the story-type puzzle game "Cats Atelier”[4].
Concurrently has the No. 1 avatar mobile app in Japan and has sold 16 billion digital assets, and is promoting the conversion of digital assets to NFT since 2022.
Since April 2017, Cocone has also been operating the kindergarten "International Montessori Mirai Kindergarten".
