A fact from Sphero appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 9 February 2014 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Sphero was initially prototyped with electronics taken from a smartphone?
From reading the article, I'm not 100% sure what this does. From the image, it looks like maybe it sits on a pedestal - does it roll around? It's some sort of robot, you can program it, but what can you program it to do? 0x0077BE (talk) 23:06, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Just visit the official website, or read the article which clearly states it is a robot toy and the "pedestal" is the charger. Or if you are lazy wathc a youtube video... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.55.162.100 (talk) 11:12, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As the original product the article is about has been discontinued, and with the new Sphero RVR that has been announced; I'm thinking we should refocus the article to be about the company and all of their products in general. Thoughts? Saucy[talk – contribs]03:19, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
