Skycop is an intermediary company that makes claims on behalf of air passengers for delayed, canceled, or overbooked flights, and helps them receive financial compensation[2]

Services

Skycop makes claims against airlines in accordance with EU Regulation 261/2004. If the compensation is successfully recovered, the company applies a fee calculated accordingly to the amount of the recovered compensation.[3]

Skycop services can be used even if a passenger has submitted a claim directly to the airline but it has been rejected. The amount of compensation possible depends on the distance of the flight; the longer the distance, the bigger the potential compensation, which ranges from 250 to 600 euros. Only flights from the EU with EU-registered airlines may be compensated if the flight was disrupted due to the airline's fault, or was delayed and arrived at the final destination more than 3 hours late.[4]

Other

In 2017, the company became the main sponsor of Kaunas "Žalgiris" basketball club,[5] and in February 2018, the team's coach, European basketball legend Šarūnas Jasikevičius became the company's advertising partner.[6]

Skycop also supported the arrival of brothers LaMelo Ball and LiAngelo Ball to then titled Birštonas-Prienai Vytautas basketball club, providing them with business class tickets from Los Angeles to Vilnius.[7]
