Leave me a message!

Hi Trisweb, I notice that you're interested in open-source/free software. Please consider joining WikiProject Free Software. We're just starting out, and we could really use some members. Thanks! Geekman314(contact me) 18:17, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Just so you know, I nominated one of your pictures for featured picture status (see Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Sather Tower). Regardless of whether it gets promoted, I think the photograph is terrific. Perhaps I'll be at Berkeley next year (but I have to wait until March 30 to find out). -- tariqabjotu 02:56, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PS the image should probably be moved to Image:CampanileMtTamalpaisSunset.jpg. ~ trialsanderrors 06:44, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

re mountain light contact (Galen Rowell article)

[edit]

Gallery manager there is Justin Black (if I recall correctly), I have no idea how they'll answer but I don't think you'll have too much trouble finding someone appropriate to ask, everyone I've met there is just top-notch. --Joe Decker 05:00, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Signature

I'm just testing out my new signature; simple and useful. trisweb (Talk) 17:46, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Try again.. talk link didn't work... trisweb (Talk) 17:47, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Haha, duh, it won't link if I'm already on that page! trisweb (Talk) 17:53, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Use of your photo

[edit]

Hi. I've cropped one of your photos and used it in Cal's new navbox, which I have redone in a new, pan-UC style. You do some quite good photographic work, I must say. --Dynaflow 06:53, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In the absence of other nominations, free software is the article for improvement by the WikiProject for the week of 4/22-4/28. Please help rearrange the article, primarily, and make any improvements that you can think of. Hopefully, as the article is already pretty good, we can bring it to an FA. Thanks! --Liπus the Turbogeek(contact me) 18:41, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

zenphoto help!

[edit]

Hi Tris, I've been looking around zenphoto.org and forums; I tried signing up at the forums twice (but never received the passwords) and looking for a way to contact zenphoto. But anyway, I happened to find you on WP and hope you can help. My questions are basically about zenphoto. For one, is there a way to create a tagging system? (That's not quite important yet though.) The next, about the comments feature in zenphoto, is there a way to disable it or at least to prevent spamming? Thanks, Pristine 08:17, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please go to the forums at zenphoto.org/support, not on my Wikipedia page :-) Send me an email with your username and I'll reset your password for you. Thanks trisweb (Talk) 17:46, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

CSS help

[edit]

Trisweb, can you take a look at the CSS for Template:Hidden messages? The template should be as small (vertically) as possible, but hopefully with not-too-small font size. Thanks, Λυδαcιτγ 03:15, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Club at Berkeley

[edit]

Hi Trisweb, I'm just writing to let you know that me and some Wikipedian friends are launching Wikipedia Club at Berkeley, a student club for promoting participation in Wikipedia and face-to-face collaborations. If you're still living in the Bay Area and that sounds fun to you, please consider joining our mailing list. I'm an amateur photographer myself and I'm really impressed with your featured photo of the Campanile, among your other contributions. Thanks. :-) Dcoetzee 00:00, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Zenphoto for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Zenphoto is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Zenphoto until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion.
