Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 is the sequel to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. It expands on the game play of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and is the fourth installment in the popular Ghost Recon tactical shooter video game series, published by Ubisoft.
Plot
The game's story takes place just south of the United States border, and deals with the growing turmoil in that region. The game takes place over a span of just 72 hours, and features a wide array of location types including forests, mountains, jungles, and towns. The combat takes place in both Mexico and the United States of America, although the game begins in the urban part of Mexico City there is a mission in El Paso involving a plot to destroy a dam. The main town in the game is border town Juarez, Mexico. The latter half of act 1 and some of act 2 take place in this Mexican town where rebels have seized control and have atomic capability.

Issues with Xbox 360 Version
The Xbox 360 version of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 appears to be defective.[1] Many users on the official Ubisoft forums have complained that the game constantly freezes, while noting that they have no such issues with any other Xbox 360 games.[2] Ubisoft have not acknowledged or commented on the issue, much to the frustration of their customers.
Trivia
- The Third Echelon from Splinter Cell is mentioned by name during act two. This shows again how Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell exist within the same universe. The first time being the sinking of the Clarence E. Walsh in both Ghost Recon 2 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
You can also obtain special head gear from Rainbow Six: Vegas and Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Simply by having saved profiles from the games on your hard drive or memory card, you gain access to these head pieces in the multiplayer character customization area.
