    Negativity

Does anyone notice how all this page talks about is how many people died in a natural disaster or military attack, how countries dispute something or other, etc? Is there ever anything positive on this thing? 74.69.208.122 (talk) 04:23, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

    Georgian bill

Georgia's ruling party announces that it will withdraw a controversial bill concerning foreign agents which prompted days of protests across the country.

That should read "which had prompted days of protests..." The way you've written it, it sounds as though the ruling party's announcement that it would withdraw the bill resulted in protests. This is not quite how it happened. Kelisi (talk) 18:16, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

    Lagos train-bus crash

Six people are killed and at least 25 others are injured in a collision between a train and a public bus in Lagos, Nigeria.

The linked Reuters story is not quite accurate, as it was not a public bus, but rather one reserved for taking civil servants to and from work. This BBC story might be a better reference. It includes a video report. Kelisi (talk) 18:29, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Let’s make this section more positive

I agree with the comment about negativity. I think there should be some good news in current events 174.243.54.7 (talk) 16:42, 13 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Climat Crisis is not ongoing anymore ???

Revision as of 06:07, 12 February 2023 removed climat from ongoing crisis in the sidebar. Can we please restore it? Cy21discuss 13:23, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Pinging @Farolif for comment on the removal on the event. Carter00000 (talk) 17:23, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It was, and still is, a low visibility article - compare to some other ongoing widespread events. Farolif (talk) 18:13, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, it is a long term issue. But is this kind of attitude part of why some issues tends to be forsaken ? Number of views shouldn't decide what is and what is not an issue. Cy21discuss 09:53, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

    Notable?

    NCAA basketball season ending

In the "Sports" section more specifically Basketball, it says that the 2022-23 NCAA Mens/Women basketball season is still ongoing even though it has concluded as of a few days ago. Please fix this
