Welcome!

Welcome, Fourier-Deligne Transgirl!

I just read your contributions on the Wikiproject maths discussion board; we are very happy to have you here! I think as an obviously algebraically-inclined undergraduate you would be perfectly placed to help us out with extending the fledgling Glossary of linear algebra, either by adding new entries or by extending/improving the ones that are already there. Since linear algebra is obviously relevant to a large number of people and comes with a large set of more-or-less standardised terms, I think this glossary has a particularly high potential-benefit-to-effort ratio.

Anyway, whatever you decide to help out with, I hope you quickly feel at home here! Felix QW (talk) 09:16, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. It's hard to just compile a glossary, but if I write something on Wiki that involves linear algebra concept I'll definitely remember to add it in there. --Fourier-Deligne Transgirl (talk) 07:32, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

SGA

I'm afraid that you did just violate Commons licensing rules by uploading a picture of SGA to Commons... :) However, you are free to upload it to Wikipedia (not Wikipedia Commons), since using it for the purposes of argument about the correctness of a mathematical expression is certainly fair use. @Felix QW: Do you know how to delete it from Commons and upload it to Wikipedia? You have my permission to do that if you know how... Sorry. Fourier-Deligne Transgirl (talk) 11:15, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, Grothendieck, the one who wrote SGA4, is already dead... How is this a violation? Like the IHES will file a complaint to Wikipedia? Fourier-Deligne Transgirl (talk) 11:22, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ghidra image

This time, I have better copyright news for you - you can indeed upload the banner you made, copyright-wise, since the Ghidra logo is in the public domain as the work of the NSA, an arm of the American federal government. Felix QW (talk) 07:53, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
