On April 15, 2023, a mass shooting occurred in Dadeville, Alabama United States. More than 20 people were shot, and four people died. The shooting took place at a 16th birthday celebration, and most of the victims are teenagers.[1][2][3] The shooting took place at the old Dadeville bank, at 220 N. Broadnax St, which had been converted into the Mahogany Masterpiece Dance Studio in 2021.[4]
On the morning of 16 April, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said it had launched an investigation at the request of Dadeville police, and that as of the time of their statement four people have been confirmed dead.[5]
