Musical Career

Toby Lyons (left)

Toby Lyons was one of the founding members of the British band Colourfield, which formed in 1984. Their first single "Colourfield" missed the top 40. Their second single "Take" was as unsuccessful. "Thinking Of You" reached number 12 in the charts and remained to be the only charting single.

Present Day

Since leaving the band in 1987, Toby Lyons is now a university tutor of Graphic Design at Sheffield Hallam University in South Yorkshire.
