Chinmoy Barma
Chinmoy Barma (born 7 August 1993 in Nalbari) is an Indian educator, filmmaker, and storyteller. Known for his academic achievements and passion for social causes, Barma has made significant contributions in the field of education and is actively involved in supporting underprivileged children through various initiatives. He hailed from Assam, India.[1]
Early Life and Education
Chinmoy Barma achieved considerable academic success at a young age. In 2010, he attained the 7th rank in the HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) examination conducted by the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA). This early achievement laid the foundation for his future pursuits.[2][3]
He went on to pursue higher education at Cotton College, a prestigious institution known for its academic rigor and commitment to excellence. He displayed a keen interest in engineering and successfully completed his engineering degree from the Royal Global University, acquiring the necessary skills to excel in his chosen field.[4]
Career
Following the completion of his studies, Chinmoy Barma gained professional experience by working in Delhi for a year. During this time, he realized his true passion for making a positive impact on society, particularly in the lives of underprivileged children. Motivated by this desire, Barma joined a non-governmental organization (NGO) as the city lead, where he dedicated himself to providing support and resources to children in need. His efforts as an advocate for their rights and well-being were widely recognized. His short films portray the ghosts of Assam.[5][4]
He paints ghosts and popular legends of Assamese folklore with the help of artificial intelligence. His paintings became instantly popular on social media and attracted the attention of art lovers all over the world.[4][6][7]
