Thread: An Insidious Tale is an upcoming American supernatural horror film written and directed by Jeremy Slater in his directorial debut. It serves as the sixth installment in the Insidious film series and as a spin-off film to the main series.
Development
In January 2022, it was announced that the film, at the time titled Thread, was in early development, with Jeremy Slater writing and directing in his directorial debut and James Wan as producer.[1]
In May 2023, it was announced that the film is a spin-off of the Insidious film series titled ''Thread: An Insidious Tale'', with Mandy Moore and Kumail Nanjiani to star.[2]
