As can be seen on page 1 of the book as can be found here (https://www.library.wales/discover-learn/digital-exhibitions/europeana-rise-of-literacy/science-and-mathematics/the-whetstone-of-witte-whiche-is-the-seconde-parte-of-arithmetike-containyng-thextraction-of-rootes-the-cossike-practise-with-the-rule-of-equation-and-the-woorkes-of-surde-nombers) the correct, incorrect spelling is 'thextraction' which is the change that I made Shootingstarsa (talk) 15:20, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
