Thank you and sincere apologies if I inadvertently caused an error in the page edit - it was an honest error, not a deliberate excision. As a Sandhu on the distaff side I was very interested and sought to contribute some positive information, linguistic and grammatical edits. The grammar and use of language on the page is very poor currently.

Move request
I moved Aminatta Forna per your request. Please note, if you try to search for it using the search option, it always takes some time, a few hours to a day, for it to show up in search.--SPhilbrickT 20:19, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- I converted a couple of the books to proper citation format - I noticed that the publisher I found didn't match the one you had listed. If I have the wrong version, feel free to correct, or ask me for help.--SPhilbrickT 20:30, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Susheela Raman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rajasthani (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Royal African Company into Robert Aske (merchant). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 15:01, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

On 24 January 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Preet Chandi, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. Hello, I'm Belbury. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Museum of the Home seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Wikipedia should not talk of something "reaffirming the Museum's place in the capital's cultural and fashion scene", and similar statements, in its own voice. Belbury (talk) 17:10, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
Hello, SanjitChudha. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Museum of the Home, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. You're adding a lot of promotionally-tinged descriptions of new exhibitions and what the museum director has said this week. If you are updating this article as part of your job at the museum, you must declare this. Belbury (talk) 13:14, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
