Local elections were held in Santa Cruz on Monday, May 9, 2010, as a part of the 2010 Philippine general election. Voters will select candidates for all local positions: a town mayor, vice mayor and town councilors, as well as members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, a governor, a vice-governor and a representative for the province's fourth congressional district in the House of Representatives.

Incumbent Mayor Ariel Magcalas is running for re-election under Lakas–CMD, his opponents is incumbent Laguna Board Member Domingo G. Panganiban under the PMP and former Congressman Benjamin Agarao Jr. Under the Liberal Party.

Incumbent Vice Mayor Allan Pamatmat is running for re-election under Liberal Party, his opponents is incumbent Councilor Louie de Leon under the Lakas–CMD and Roselon Pamatmat under the NPC.
