TATMR is a British-American Film

What ever happed to the word British-American on TATMR Wikipedia page huh? Thomas And The Magic Railroad is a 2000 British American fantasy adventure film. The word British-American should be added back. SECREngineNo592 (talk) 12:08, 1 June 2021

@SECREngineNo592: As I put in my edit summary both times I've reverted this, please take a look at WP:FILMLEAD- "If the film's nationality is singularly defined by reliable sources (e.g., being called an American film), it should be identified in the opening sentence. If the nationality is not singular, cover the different national interests later in the lead section."

Essentially what this means is that if it were just an American film, then, "...is a 2000 American fantasy adventure film..." would be fine to put. However, if it is multiple nationalities, such as here, something such as 'British-American' is incorrect and should not be included. Hope that makes sense. @Magitroopa: Thomas and the Magic Railroad is released in the UK two times on July 9 and July 14th 2000, and it was released in the US on July 26th 2000. Destination Films is a US Company but other three companies like Gullane Pictures, Isle of Man Film Commission and Icon Film Distribution are UK. Also TATMR is based on The Railway Series which is British and Shining Time Station which is American. So TATMR really is a British-American Film! It was mentioned in the Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit Wikipedia page that it's a British-American Film. SECREngineNo592 (talk) 12:51, 1 June 2021

Do not change "Subsequent Edits and Changes" to "Original version"

Any if you're going to try and do it, at least have the decency to capitalize, "version"

Changing it to "Original version" disputes the neutrality of the article, which is one of the many problems this article has.

Also, in the most recent edit, I noticed that 1995 was changed to February 1996. Allcroft was approached by London in mid to late 1995, not February. February 1996 is when she signed the contract. Read the goddamn article.

A section titled 'Original version' is not a neutrality issue whatsoever. There is an 'original version' of the film in comparison to what was released, and that's a fact. Magitroopa (talk) 17:32, 9 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why does this page use MDY dates instead of DMY dates?

As Thomas originates from the United Kingdom, it would probably make more sense for it to be DMY dates instead of MDY dates. Thomasfan1000 (talk) 13:52, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
