  • Comment: This was declined 6 times previously for notability not being established and I still don't think he fits the criteria, especially since the redirect is protected. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 13:42, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
  • Comment: Please note that the main article redirect at W2S is fully protected since 2020. You need to discuss at the talk page for Sidemen whether he has enough independent notability from Sidemen, supporting with reliable sources, especially since 2020. • Comment: Please note that W2S redirect is fully protected so he needs to show a lot more independent notability from Sidemen before reconsidering this draft. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 19:42, 6 March 2022 (UTC)

Harold Christopher George Lewis[1] (born 24 November 1996), better known as Wroetoshaw or W2S, is an English YouTuber and Internet personality. He is one of the seven members of the British YouTube group known as the Sidemen.[1][2] and is best known for his football challenges and FIFA gameplays.

Business Insider listed Lewis as one of the United Kingdom's most popular YouTube personalities.[3][4] As of January 2023, he has accumulated over 16.6 million subscribers and 5.2 billion views across three YouTube channels.

Early life

Lewis was born in Guernsey in the Channel Islands but grew up and spent many years on neighbouring Alderney. His family moved to Guernsey in 2004 when he was around the age of 7 or 8.

He has two siblings, a younger brother and a younger sister.

During his childhood, Lewis played football for one of his local teams called 'Rangers F.C.'.

He first found interest in gaming when his parents bought him a Nintendo GameCube from a car boot sale.

Lewis moved to London, England in September 2014 where he shared an apartment in the Stratford Halo tower with YouTubers Calfreezy and Callux.[1][5]

Career

Lewis created his main channel 'Wroteoshaw', on the 26th of July, 2016. Lewis created his name by a portmanteau of the footballers Nicky Wroe and Tom Bradshaw.[citation needed] He received worldwide popularity for his videos on the FIFA videogame series.[6]

In 2013, he surpassed 100 thousand subscribers.

In early 2014, Lewis joined the Sidemen a few months after its inception, first meeting member Josh Bradley at a New York gaming tournament.[7] He is the youngest member of the group and the last to join.[8][1][7]. Since 2014, the group has consisted of seven British YouTubers: Vikram Barn (Vikkstar123), Joshua Bradley (Zerkaa), Harry Lewis (W2S), Simon Minter (Miniminter), JJ Olatunji (KSI), Ethan Payne (Behzinga), and Tobi Brown (TBJZL).[9] The group produces online videos, most often consisting of challenges, sketches and video-game commentary, as well as selling exclusive Sidemen merchandise.[10][11]

In 2014, he reached 1 million subscribers and in 2017, he surpassed 10 million subscribers.

He also gained notability by collaborating with popular Portuguese football player, Cristiano Ronaldo in 2017.[12][13][14]

His video 'Kicking A Football At My Mum's Face!! (Broken Nose)' went viral in 2017. The video surfaced all around social media and appeared in various news articles.[15][16]

In 2018, Lewis co-starred alongside the rest of the Sidemen in the YouTube Premium series The Sidemen Show.[17]

Lewis often collaborates with other creators on the platform.[18][19]
