April Stewart (born April 1, 1969) is an American voice actress.
Early life
April Stewart was born on April 1, 1969 in Truckee, California.[1] She was raised by her father Freddie Stewart. Her father was a singer with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. Stewart started acting at age 12.[2]
Career
Stewart is best known for providing the voices of many of the female characters in the animated comedy series South Park.[2] She also provided the voices of Maria Rivera on Nickelodeon's El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera, Raava and Fire Lord Izumi in The Legend of Korra, the main antagonist Bloody Mary in Infamous: Festival of Blood, and Prisoner X in Minecraft: Story Mode.[3]
South Park
Stewart started her voice work on South Park in 2004 starting with Season 8 after the departure of Eliza Schneider. Prior to this, many of the female characters on South Park were originally voiced by Mary Kay Bergman. Bergman later died in 1999. After her death, Eliza Schneider and Mona Marshall replaced Bergman for roles of many of the female characters. Schneider later left the show after Season 7 over a contract dispute in 2003. Prior to Stewart’s hiring, Schneider voiced Wendy Testaburger, Liane Cartman, Sharon Marsh, Carol McCormick, Shelley Marsh, Mayor McDaniels and Principal Victoria. Marshall provided the voices for Sheila Broflovski, Linda Stotch and Red McArthur. Alongside both Schneider and Marshall’s aforementioned characters, Schneider and Marshall also voiced other characters in the show. Marshall continues to provide voices. After Schneider’s departure. Stewart now provides the voices of Schneider’s aforementioned characters, and other characters she voiced.

Stewart had a child in 2008, she gave birth to a daughter.[citation needed]
