1996 Los Angeles Galaxy season moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to 1996 Los Angeles Galaxy season. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. BoyTheKingCanDance (talk) 06:45, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Season articles

Please make sure to use an en dash (–) for scores, e.g. 1–0 or 5–2, per MOS:DASH. Also, goalscorers and card recipients should have only their surname or common name, not their full name (e.g. Vela, not Carlos Vela). SounderBruce 04:24, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Copy-Paste

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:2023 FA Community Shield a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into 2023 FA Community Shield. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Edits to 2022 USC Trojans football team page

Hi Coola,

Wanted to give the heads up that I rolled back your edits to the game summaries on the 2022 USC Trojans football team page. For the future, when editing a page, make sure your edits -- especially when as major as that, both individually and in total -- are improvements. These edits made the page less organized, harder to find relevant information, and were sometimes incomplete and improper. You removed all scoring history in the Pac-12 Championship section, changed some links to team pages to the wrong year, used a redirect to a disambiguation page, etc. I am not perfect on my edits, but I do thoroughly check them to make sure everything looks good.

Happy to discuss further. Debartolo2917 (talk) 02:12, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Zach Joyce moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Zach Joyce. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and In addition to failing WP:GNG and being a case of WP:NOTINHERITED, he hasn't even signed with the Angels yet (and may not given how low he was drafted) so it's also incorrect.. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
