Merge Cork City here

I propose merging Cork City (Dáil constituency), noting the different names in the introduction and in the relevant table headings. The minor difference in designation between Borough and City doesn't warrant a separate page here. A unified page would show together all those Dáil elections in which there was a unified Cork City constituency. I wouldn't advocate changing the visible text on any of the pages that currently link to Cork City (Dáil constituency) (as I did recently in the case of Leitrim–Sligo (Dáil constituency)), but it is coherent to list them together, albeit that in the 1921 to 1969 period, it was the whole city and a bit extra, whereas in the 1977 to 1981 period, it the whole city, less a portion in a separate constituency. - I agree with this proposal. Spleodrach (talk) 11:35, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
