"Lexington's demise was brought about by his consumption of animal flesh." really? this seems to be the writer of the article talking, and not an unbiased view of the story itself. the insistence that 'Pig' is about the horrors of meat consumption is also, IMO, purely opinion. i've never heard this interpretation of the story anywhere, and though it could be read as such it's hardly a definitive or, for that matter, impassionate reading of the story.

i don't know how to sign this seeing as how i generally tend to vandalize wikis, but something about the way in which this article was written annoys.

Lots of OR in this article. "This can be interpreted as a comment on the conspiracy of silence surrounding the meat industry. All parents teach children happy tales about farm animals, neglecting to educate or connect that sweet barnyard animals are also killed, butchered and processed to be meat on the plates of those same children."
