In Indian music Arohan means ascending notes of a raga or scale It is also called Arohanam or Aarohan or Arohona. The descending notes are called Avarohan

Arohan of raga Hamsadhwani is Sa(Do) Re(Re) Ga(Me) Pa(Fa) Ni(Te)

Parent scale of the raga is scale 29, Dheerashankarabharanam (C Major If Sa is fixed as the note C)
