Goud is a dalit caste from the Indian states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. They are traditionally involved in toddy tapping.[2] However, they are also involved in many modern occupations, such as street sweeping and sewer cleaning. Gouds are rapidly developing to modern life. However, Goud women lag behind in development.[3]
