Bikkina Veeraswami (1886 - 27 November 1970) was an Indian leader and politician who served as the Minister of Agriculture in the Madras Presidency during a critical period in Indian history.
Early life and education
Veeraswami was born in Tatipaka village in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.
After completing his schooling, Veeraswami studied at the Madras College of Agriculture, receiving a licentiate in agriculture in 1915.
Political career
Veeraswami ran in the 1946 Madras Presidency Legislative Assembly election. He became a Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) representing East Godavari and was a member of the Indian National Congress party.
In 1946, Veeraswami assumed the role of Minister of Agriculture in the Madras Government.
