WRY
Weronika Stasiak (born March 12, 1998), better known by her stage name WRY, is a Polish singer and songwriter.
Life and career
1998–present: Early life and continued success
Weronika Stasiak was born to Polish parents on 12 March 1998 in Poland[1]. She grew up in a family with a strong musical background, which played a significant role in shaping her artistic journey. Her early exposure to music began at the age of 9 when she enrolled in a music school. She learnt to play fingerstyle guitar and sung in a choir.[2] [3]Throughout her life, she participated in numerous national and international music festivals. After completing her bilingual high school education with a major in Spanish, she moved out to Berlin in Germany to continue her professional music career.[4][5] Simultaneously, she enrolled to study Media and Communication Management at the University of Westminster, where she wrote a thesis on Big Data and its influence on the music industry, eventually earning a bachelor's degree in Media and Communication Management.

WRY has cited Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, D' Angelo, Joss Stone, and Maxwell as her major influences.[6]
