Spain is scheduled to compete at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024. Spanish athletes have appeared in every edition of the Summer Olympic Games from 1920 onwards, except for two occasions: the 1936 Summer Olympics in Nazi Germany because of the nation's civil war and the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne as a protest against the Soviet invasion of Hungary.

Both Álvaro Martín and María Pérez have guaranteed their participation at the Games through winning their corresponding 20 km walk events at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, as per the criteria approved by the Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA).
Boxing
Spain entered two boxers (three men and four women) into the Olympic tournament. Tokyo 2020 Olympian José Quiles (men's featherweight), with Laura Fuertes (women's flyweight) slated to become the country's first female boxer in history at the Games, secured the spots on the Spanish squad in their respective weight divisions by advancing to the semifinal match at the 2023 European Games in Nowy Targ, Poland.[3][4]
