Paulie Calafiore (born November 13, 1988)[1] is an American television personality who has competed on season 18 of Big Brother, as well as multiple seasons of The Challenge.[2][3][4] He has played soccer for the Colorado Rapids;[5] he and his brother Cody Calafiore played in The Soccer Tournament in 2023.

Early life and education

Paulie Calafiore was born in Howell Township, New Jersey, to Palu Jr. and Linda Calafiore. He attended Howell High School, and played on the soccer team while attending Rutgers University.[1][6][7] His brother is Cody Calafiore, the winner of season 22 of Big Brother.[8][9]

Career

Calafiore is a former professional soccer player.[10] He "had a brief spell" with the Colorado Rapids.[5] Calafiore and his brother played in The Soccer Tournament in 2023.[5] He is also a disc jockey, a model, and a personal trainer.[1] Calafiore has appearance on multiple television series, including season 18 of Big Brother and multiple iterations of The Challenge.

Personal life

Calafiore lives in North Carolina.[1] He and Cara Maria Sorbello began dating in 2018,[11][12] after meeting on The Challenge.[13][14][15] He came out as bisexual in 2023.[16][17]

Calafiore plays the guitar, has practiced martial arts (particularly Krav Maga),[18] and has trained in bobsledding.[19][20] Queerty has described him as a "fitness pro".[21]
