On 16 September 2023, a Embraer EMB-110 Bandeirante of Manaus Aerotaxi on approach crashed when it was trying to land on Barcelos Airport while perfoming a go around, killing all the 14 occupants on board,[1] all occupants on board were tourists going to a fishing competition in Rio Negro.[2] The crash is the deadliest on Brazilian soil since the crash of NOAR Linhas Aéreas Flight 4896 in 2011.
Accident
The aircraft was on final approach, the aircarft crashed into a embankment short of the runway at the airport, all the occupants on board died, the crash did not catch fire.[3]
