"Lost in the Snow"

Lost in the Snow is the second ever show aired of Discovery Channel's I Shouldn't Be Alive. It is about a U.S. Army Private, his young wife, and their five-month old child travel through Nevada to a funeral, but take wrong turn. Instead of going to the city, they go into a wildlife national park and get lost in the middle of a blizzard. To make matters worse, the park has no people in it, since it is closed for winter, and there could be dangerous animals like bears or wolves.

They have a choice - stay in the jeep they're traveling in or leave and look for help. They choose look for help. They put the baby in a sleeping bag and blankets and wrap their selves up with clothing and head out. The effect of frost bite comes upon them quickly and they fight for their lives. At one point, the baby stops making sounds. They look in the bag and find the baby safe and sound. The couple make it to a cliffy place and the husband/father leaves his loved ones to find help. Luckily, he finds a highway and gets somebody to get him help. After the man leads a search party to his wife and baby and saves them all. But frost bite claimed most of their toes. They still live as a happy family.
