Why was my edit useless?
It added significant information about recent controversies in the district. 2601:800:4001:EAF0:2A03:507F:55AC:1A3E (talk) 16:54, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hi there. The main reason I reverted your change is because you entirely removed the infobox from the article without explanation. Additionally, the tone of the content you added seemed to be less than neutral, to me it read more like a news story than an encyclopedia. Also statements like "The school is already infamous for reports of students using slurs" definitely need citations to reliable sources, and the news article you cited didn't seem to mention that infamousness. In my opinion if you re-add the content without removing the infobox and take another pass at making sure everything you've added is neutral and well-sourced, it will probably be fine to keep in the article. Hope that all makes sense, if you have any questions feel free to ask at the teahouse or reply here! (bojo)(they/them)(talk) 17:06, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
- Agreed. Thank you for the lengthy explanation! Is the new edit more appropriate in terms of neutrality? To be honest, I thought I was signed in and on sandbox, as I frequently make mistakes during lengthy edits (hence the infobox removal). I am a journalist, so I apologize for the news worthy tone but I believe that should be taken care of :) . 2601:800:4001:EAF0:2A03:507F:55AC:1A3E (talk) 17:12, 17 September 2023 (UTC)

Lauren Haney AKA Betty June Wolfe/Winkleman
I am her first cousin once removed. I just found out she passed away last year from a Family Tree on Ancestry also Wikipedia referenced her passing last year. The family tree is from a cousin on her mother's side.
209.50.1.156 (talk) 03:43, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hi there. Wikipedia has a policy that doesn't allow for original research, meaning that information added needs to include citations to published, reliable sources. Unfortunately a family tree compiled by a family member falls pretty squarely into the definition of original research. If you have any questions, I'd encourage you to ask at the teahouse or you can reply to me here! (bojo)(they/them)(talk) 04:04, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
- I have always thought it was sad that no one knew her roots. Her dad was born Jan Vlcek brother of my grandpa Antonin Vlcek. When they came over here from Bohemia in 1895, the family began to go by Wolfe, which is an Angelized version of Vlcek.
- It was no surprise to the rest of us that she published in the Czech Republic since she was half Czech.
- I do not think anyone every published an actual biography about Betty except using her married name. I have her mom and dad's obituaries which mention her by name.
- I cannot find an obituary for her, because she died alone. She never had children and I think she was estranged from her brother Fred. While Betty always maintained contact until just recently, her brother never had.
- I have photos of my dad and his parents with her parents, Betty and Fred. Circa 1954 about the time she graduated from Savannah High School.
- I tried to correct the record, I guess she will go down in history unknown as to her roots. 209.50.1.156 (talk) 04:23, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
- I am really sympathetic for you, and I hope you are able to find some way to get her story out there, but unfortunately Wikipedia isn't the place for that currently. Best of luck! (bojo)(they/them)(talk) 12:00, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
Justin Timberlake "Cry Me A River"
Hey, Bojo.
This sentence is inaccurate --> It was written by Scott Storch with producer Timbaland and was inspired by Timberlake's former relationship with singer Britney Spears.
Justin Timberlake was also a co-writer on this song.
If somebody were to quickly to check to see if Justin Timberlake wrote "Cry Me a River"...and they read those first few lines, they would have reason to believe that he didn't.
I have given you one source (of many available) below that IS accurate. I'm only asking to give credit where credit is due. Thank you in advance.

- Looking at it again, it looks like you're right, though for your future reference, other wikis (especially fan-made ones) are not reliable sources. (bojo)(they/them)(talk) 17:31, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking another look at it! Much appreciated! Have a nice weekend 😎 2600:6C50:37F:15D0:7442:F932:CC7A:4693 (talk) 21:28, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
Luis Miguel Edit
Luis Miguel has sold more than 100 million copies because you deny it or want to demean it greetings Josemi5000 (talk) 18:09, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Josemi5000: Hi there. I am not denying or "demeaning" the information you added, but all information added to Wikipedia needs a citation to a reliable source, which you didn't provide. A Google search results page is not a reliable source (or really much of a source at all since it is just displaying information from other websites and by its nature will change a lot over time). Hope that makes sense, if you have any questions feel free to ask at the teahouse or reply to me here. (bojo)(they/them)(talk) 18:20, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
Mineplex page unexplained edit
Hello @Bojo1498, i've recently made an edit at Mineplex Page but the edit was explained in Spanish, so please take a look this:
Translation: Mineplex Games (Mineplex, LLC.) has nothing to be with Mineplex Tech (Mineplex Studios, LLC.) because the recent changes made in the project and new ownership. I suggest to make a new Wiki Page regarding new Mineplex. JosGCS (talk) 04:35, 23 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hi there. You can suggest that (I suggest doing so on the article talk page and/or start the process to propose splitting the article, but simply removing the content isn't appropriate. That information is still relevant and removing it doesn't benefit anyone. If you have any questions, feel free to ask at the Teahouse or reply to me here! A kitten for you!
For your anti-vandal work. Cheers!

Trophy article
I didn't make any change in Trophy article. I added just a similar system under the similar systems list. You can check it by given name of the system and the producer. I have done similar additions in the past too which were not denied. 94.121.250.88 (talk) 10:19, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hi there. The addition you made to the article did not include any citations to reliable sources. All content added to Wikipedia must be verifiable. If you have made other similar changes that weren't reverted, they were likely just missed. If you have any questions, I encourage you to ask at the Teahouse or reply to me here! BRDM-2 change from insurgents to insurrectionists removed
It's not a term of bias but that insurrection is the more appropriate term to use. Insurgency is intended to bring about change by rebelling against a government, insurrection is generally to bring an actual full change in government, and on top of that is generally considered to involve violence, which an insurgency might not. In that conflict the intention was to change the government in the area described, as happened in other parts of the country.
"Insurgence” refers to a rising up or revolt against an established authority or government ... in order to bring about change. On the other hand, “insurrection” refers specifically to a violent uprising or rebellion, often with the aim of overthrowing a government or other established authority."

Link removal from wordle
Hi Bojo, you have removed a link from the wordle, i have added a link to https://connectionsnytunlimited.com/ as it is a new game tat has been launched after wordle. and its similar to it. 202.163.64.101 (talk) 18:38, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hi there. I suggest you review Wikipedia’s policy on external links to avoid. That site seems to be (at best) indirectly related to the article. (bojo)(they/them)(talk) 18:49, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
so you did not read today's newspaper

- Nothing in that article establishes that he is from or lives in Satellite Beach, so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. Also if it did, you would need to add a citation to the article itself along with the addition. (bojo)(they/them)(talk) 17:07, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
BRDM-2 changes
I've responded to your question explaining why it's the more appropriate word to use. Can you please revert the undo?
If you're going to undo peoples' work it would be good to resolve things quickly once people respond to you. It's only fair. 104.246.192.33 (talk) 18:02, 30 September 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry I missed your first message. Looking at your explanation I feel like an argument could be made for either term to be correct, but I don't think it is worthy of a debate since the terms are pretty similar. Feel free to make the changes again, and I won't revert them. (bojo)(they/them)(talk) 16:48, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
Sultan Bahu
You made a mistake about Abdul Rehman dehlavi Yasirsultani86 (talk) 17:26, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
- Could you elaborate? You removed content without explanation and added a field that isn't a valid field in that infobox. Additionally, you added unsourced information. (bojo)(they/them)(talk) 17:32, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
- I am one of the followers of Sultan Bahu. He wrote 140 books. I studied more than 40 of 100 available. He never claimed Abdul Rehman as his preccessor. Even I never saw this name in his books. You learned it from "Manaqab e Sultani" book. Sultan Bahu mentioned Abdul Qadir Jilani and Hazrat Muhammad peace be upon him in his books wrote in Persian and Punjabi
- So I request you to correct it Yasirsultani86 (talk) 17:39, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
- Everything on Wikipedia needs to be verifiable with a citation to a reliable source. If you can provide a reliable source that supports the change you want to make, please add it. Also it is worth noting that Wikipedia prohibits original research so you can not add your own "analysis or synthesis of published material". If you have any questions on what is considered a reliable source, I encourage you to ask at the Teahouse or you can reply to me here. (bojo)(they/them)(talk) 17:44, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
- I am understanding. I am not trying to impose my opinion. In fact I studied Sultan Bahu's books He himself mentioned his preccessor or what you say I am not professional in English
- I can provide Wikipedia his own books written by his self Yasirsultani86 (talk) 17:50, 1 October 2023 (UTC)

Gearheads.
I was not the programmer, Ephraim cohen was. The citation is the manual in the box, which I can not find. I was credited as technical director. I guess no one cares. -daniel reznick 2605:59C8:205E:4000:394E:E12D:144D:9DF0 (talk) 14:26, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
- Hi there. Obviously we want everything on Wikipedia to be accurate, which is why we have a policy that everything added to Wikipedia must be verifiable. This can be assured by requiring that all additions have a citation to a reliable source. While I understand that you have a personal connection to the article, I hope you can understand why these policies exist. With that all being said, in line with the verifiability policy you may remove any information that does not currently have a reliable source supporting it, though please make sure you explain the reason for your removal in your edit summary. If you have any questions, I encourage you to ask at the Teahouse or you can reply to me here! (bojo)(they/them)(talk) 23:20, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
Steve Tappin edit
Hello!
I note that you have reverted my updated content on Steve Tappin.
Could you please explain how my proposed edit doesn't fit? Yes, I know Steve, however I'm sure if you read the content, it is entirely factual and verifiable.
If this is the case that I am not allowed to edit based on my knowledge of Steve, then could you please explain how Steve can have his page edited?
Thanks in advance. Fuzzsoth (talk) 07:01, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
