Career
Born in Tangier, he began his singing career as an amateur in 1998. He founded the band “Zanqa Flow” (Zanqa Movement) in 1998 with his Arab colleague. He expresses his feelings and harsh experiences through songs and music. Muslim participated with his singing group in many public concerts and local festivals, and the evenings he performed received great youth interaction and attendance. His songs became famous and were chanted by the public, such as “Al-Gharba,” “I am a Muslim,” “Majrooh Heart,” and “Free Flyer.”
“Muslim” was able to win the Morocco Music Awards 2014 rap competition, with the song “The Late One.” With this award, Muslim won the title of Best Rapper in Morocco for the year 2014. He was on the judging panel of one of the TV programs on the BIG UP talent discovery channel for the year 2014, the first edition of that program.
On the occasion of the Moroccan boycott of products due to their high prices, and the matter relates to a type of mineral water, a type of milk, and a fuel distribution company, and after asking his fans to express a clear position on the boycott, Muslim declared that he is “too old to boycott milk and water, and that he is a man of difficult tasks,” which has drawn criticism. Widely received by his followers, who considered this to contradict the content of his songs and to be condescending to his fans and critics.[3]
His private life
He has two sons from his first wife, Hidaya and Aziz[4]
