2023 SAFA Women's League

The 2023 SAFA WOMEN'S LEAGUE is a 4th season of the fully- professional SAFA WOMEN'S LEAGUE, and the 4th season of nation-wide league competition in women's football in South Africa.[1] It is a 2nd season played with 16 teams.

Team Changes
2022 season Golden Ladies and Tsunami Queens FC were relagated to Sasol National Championship[2]while Vasco Da Gama changed to TS Galaxy Queens after it was purchased by Tim Sukazi who owns TS Galaxy FC[3] and Bloemfontein Celtic changed to Royal AM after Shauwn Mkhize bought a PSL club Bloemfontein Celtic[4]. Two more teams joined the league, University of Pretoria won Sasol National Championship while Copperbelt Ladies FC were runner-up.
