Who I am

Welcome! My handle is Lordbowler. The name was taken from the gone, but not forgotten TV Show The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.. Lord Bowler was a bounty hunter in the show played by the great actor Julius Carry, who has since passed away.

My very first edit to Wikipedia was made on September 23, 2010 and was a minor edit to Phoenix Force. This was a book series that I read a lot of as a kid, and still own to this day. I have used Wikipedia for years, but then decided to become actively involved in contributions in 2013 for the upcoming 2014 Mid-term elections. I am close follower of the elections every year. I also have other interests, particularly the American Civil War and other US military actions, which I'm sure my attention will shift to after the election. At least until the next election cycle.

I am still relatively new to editing Wikipedia, so I apologize in advance to any errors I make. I'm and still learning the rules and do take care in properly making edits consistent with other edits. Feel free to correct me on any errors I make.
