Finno-Ugric peoples

Finno-Ugric peoples are a group of peoples speaking Finno-Ugric languages and living in Northern Europe, in some regions of the north of the European part of Russia, in the Volga region, in Western Siberia and in Eastern and Central Europe.[1][2] There are scientific congresses, conferences and other events around the world that are held to study Finno-Ugric peoples (where languages, culture, history, religion, anthropology, archeology associated with these peoples are studied): World Congress of Finno-Ugric Peoples,[3] International Congress for Finno-Ugric Studies.[4]
