Should I include that it Mariposa is Spanish for butterfly? --HollywoodHeart 23:04, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

While that is an interesting fact, I don't believe it needs to be included in this article. Moreover, I could find an appropriate place to add it. Backwards

It says, "In three years, the non-Native American population rose from 200,000 in 1848 to 14,000 in 1852." 200,000 to 14,000 is a drop, not a rise. Art LaPella (talk) 00:16, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
