Some people believe that when they notice the number 1111 or the time 11:11, that there is an underlying reason besides mere chance or coincidence. A belief of this nature is related to the idea of synchronicity.

Beliefs about the significance of the number vary greatly, some interpret it as a message of luck; George Mathieu Barnard describes it as a message from angels in his book "Search for 11:11: A Journey into the Spirit World." [citation needed] There are many forums on the web related to this subject where different views and beliefs are expressed. [citation needed]

Media coverage

George Noory has talked about his beliefs on his program Coast to Coast AM. He interviewed several guests about their beliefs regarding the time 11:11 including, Solara of NVisible;[1] and Johnny Rose and Peter Melton of The Oneness Minute Campaign.[2]
