Hello, I'm Dawn Bard. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Lord's Resistance Army without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Dawn Bard (talk) 20:52, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Lord's Resistance Army with this edit. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Ducknish (talk) 21:05, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have been editing and there has been conflicts at the same time. I have citations but each time I put these someone removes them. Please could you look at my new edition of the LRA article and say why you think is ok or not ok? Thanks

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you may be blocked from editing.

You need to stop editing to prove your point and provide reliable sources that specifically make the claims.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 00:34, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your proclaimed purpose in editing is to make a point and you cannot cherry pick around the sources to do that. Please stop.
Also, please be more careful when you comment in discussions on talk pages. if you have a new topic, start a new section, generally at the bottom of the page. do not randomly place your comments amongst non related materials.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 01:22, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Ngunalik. Thank you for the note at my Talk Page. You have recently made at least 30 edits to the Joseph Kony article, some of which have been quite substantial. If you are going to make large-scale changes or replacements at that article, then may I suggest that you always use edit summaries, and/or open a discussion thread on the Talk Page, to explain your rationale? That article has been the source of considerable controversy in the past and consensus, between editors with differing viewpoints, has been very difficult to establish. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 18:55, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:07, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Acholi people, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages West Nile, Luo and Alur (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Content moving at "Acoli/Acholi"

Hi Ngunalik,

The way in which you moved the content at this edit is very messy. Please don't do it again. It's very difficult to clean this up.

If you disagree about the naming, discuss first.

The rest of the discussion is at Talk:Acoli people. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 05:19, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It is you Amire E.Aharoni who should have first read the discussions since 2018. You do not change the writing of people even the title of books which are spelled Acoli and change it to Acholi. What I did is not messy. I tidied it up. I know the orthography of Acoli. Just because people spell it with Ach does not mean it is the approved orthography of how things should be spelt in Acoli. I took a long time to tidy up things.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited StGiNU, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Amuru (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Please refrain from attempting to make unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Some of your edits at Langi people and Lango dialect appear to be disruptive and have been reverted If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeatedly attempting to perform disruptive actions may result in the loss of editing privileges. Cookiemonster1618 (talk) 02:00, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to attempt to make unconstructive edits to Wikipedia as you did at Lango dialect and removing reliable information, you may be blocked from editing. Cookiemonster1618 (talk) 15:26, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Cookiemonster1618It is you who should refrain from making edits which you cannot substantiate. This article has been very difficult to edit and you can see Wikipedia has asked people to correct it due to inconsistencies. You are grouping that Acholi-Lango but there are lots of dialects found in Lango which is not attributed to Acholi only. Some are Teso dialects or words. Lwo/Luo groups seem to have various dialects as well. It cannot be that the language Langi speak is only Acholi and Lango. You also need to read the body of the article before you come remove edits in a hurry. Where is the consistency in the new lines you have added? If you do not keep to the rest of the texts and all the refferences then your edits deserve to be removed. Do not intimidate me. Ngunalik (talk) 18:16, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well Ethnologue the source cited mentions it as part of the Southern Luo group and as a Western Nilotic language not an Eastern Nilotic language. You have not cited any reliable source to prove your claims and have removed information and added information as you see fit. This is Vandalism, and any Vandalism will not be tolerated in Wikipedia. If you continue to vandalize articles as you did at Lango dialect as well as Ateker peoples you will be reported and blocked from editing. So stop it now. Cookiemonster1618 (talk) 18:20, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cookiemonster1618 Why can't you read the article before arguing here? Did you not see when editors are brining sources that Ethnologue or past linguists grouped the Lango or the language wrongly. In the past some have put them as Nilotics instead of Nilohamites. These are new facts with evidence and reference with backed up research. You are removing these current references and putting old data. Then you threaten to block me? It is you that is putting things which are not consistent. Ethnologue is worng according to the vast evidence sited there in the article if you search. Ngunalik (talk) 18:24, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I did not remove any references i removed information you added with no sources cited to back them up. Recent research groups Lango/Langi as a southern Luo language and is linguistically a Western Nilotic language not an Eastern Nilotic language. This is based on the geographic concentration of Lango speakers with Acholi speakers as well as the general characteristics of the language as a Western Nilotic language. Cookiemonster1618 (talk) 18:27, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cookiemonster1618 Could you please stop this? Did you not see current reference which I cited there? Once again stop intimidating me. Ngunalik (talk) 18:35, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cookiemonster1618 It is not true that recent research groups Lango as Luo language infact evidence show that ALL the clans of Lango people are in Teso and the meanings are all in Teso language with the structures. So stop lying here. If you do not restore the articles cited with consistency, it is you who should be blocked. Langi are not Lwo/Luo from origin, we have no evidence to back it even with their migrations. You are not reading articles in wikipedia properly but you are just attacking me. Ngunalik (talk) 18:39, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Your "evidence" was not cited with any source and was just information added without a source to back it up. That's vandalism and any vandalism at Wikipedia will be Removed or Reverted. Cookiemonster1618 (talk) 18:41, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cookiemonster1618 That is not true I cited a reference extencive master research and there is evidence that I have added lots of citations which HAVE to be consistent with the rest of the article. Otherwise we lose the theme of what editors are saying. Ngunalik (talk) 18:47, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cookiemonster1618 Stop intimidating me here. Vandalism does not carefully take the time to compare resources and and bring references. I cited references and it seem you have removed them put you now have no reference to put there. Lango language is not pure Luo/Lwo there is no way you can group this under Lwo language, may be in the past but not now. Ngunalik (talk) 18:28, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Any edits made that removes information that is cited and addition of information without a source is Vandalism and will be removed and reverted. This is part of Wikipedia's editing policy. If you dont understand that policy I suggest you read carefully and understand these policies before making any more edits to Wikipedia. Cookiemonster1618 (talk) 18:30, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cookiemonster1618 It is not only me who put references there, did you not find where editors said Lango speak Ateker, Teso, Luo dialects perhaps related to Koromojong? Or is it only me saying these? You are desperate to try and link Langi with Nilotics rather than Nilo hamites or link them with Luo/Lwo but there are lots of evidence showing that this group is different. Ngunalik (talk) 18:33, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop and do your research before adding anymore unsourced information to Wikipedia as you did at Lango language and Ateker peoples. Cookiemonster1618 (talk) 18:34, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cookiemonster1618 It is you who should stop editing anything in the Lango article. If you did not read the Lango article properly and you are desperate to deceive people here you will be blocked. I cited references and credible references. Did you not see one editor point out that Lango are Nilo hmites like Teso Koromajong or was it me who wrote this? How can that be Lwo/Luo? Ngunalik (talk) 18:43, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cookiemonster1618 It is you that is lying here. Are you saying that Langi are Luo/Lwo? All the vast of evidence listed in wikipedia are not listed there by me. Some are put there by Langi editors themselves. Ngunalik (talk) 18:57, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is a discussion about your editing behaviour happening at WP:AN/I. Cookiemonster1618 (talk) 23:36, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Cookiemonster1618 I do not have a behavoural problems in here. When it comes to editing, it is not good to deceive the public. You have failed to check the article themes carefully and failed to check references already cited. There is no any evidence that Lango, Kumam are Luo/Lwo ethnic groups by origin. You will not find it. I can see you are trying to build these lies up saying Acholi-Langi etc citing but one "Ethnologue" those are not based on facts. I have placed lots of references, I noticed some were removed, but Wikipedia would have a way of knowing whether I have placed references or not. Ngunalik (talk) 04:28, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kumam dialect, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Luo.

Yes. Please see WP:RFC, WP:RFCBEFORE, and WP:DR before you dive in. Also you should read over WP:IBAN to make sure you are clear on what exactly the IBAN entails. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 20:39, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
