Tony’s Beach

I believe this was subject to vandalism a few weeks ago. Like you mentioned on your edit summary, I couldn’t find any sources about it. Though it does not matter much because the page is a redirect, could you explain the thought behind this edit? Powerplay44 (talk) 21:40, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sure! I was told that this was a notable beach in Long Beach Township, New Jersey, but I couldn’t find many sources about it. The only few that may have been relevant were physical and in Italian, and I don’t speak Italian. If I’m not mistaken, @76.117.162.190: mentioned this on the Deletion Discussion for the LBTBP. Perhaps the IP can provide some insight. AlleghenyPA (talk) 21:45, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Powerplay44: and @AlleghenyPA:, similar to you, I am not versed in the history and notability of Tony’s Beach. However, I’m sure @Drmies: can provide the insight you are looking for about this topic as he was involved in the initial matter regarding this beach. Sincerely, 76.117.162.190 (talk) 21:51, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If there are offline sources, do you think that the redirected page should be expanded on? How many sources are we talking about? Powerplay44 (talk) 22:02, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I found about 8-11 physical newspaper and book sources detailing the history of Tony’s Beach and I’m sure I could put something together as far as page expansion goes, but I think we should wait for @Drmies: to give us some more information before we proceed. Based in your sources, what would a possible expansion on the article look like? Powerplay44 (talk) 22:11, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
One book I have in front of me (written in 2016, so fairly recently) talks about history, culture, and nearby attractions, so the article could follow that. AlleghenyPA (talk) 22:14, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Do you think an expansion would pass WP:GNG? 76.117.162.190 (talk) 22:17, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
