Real estate values?

Forgive me for not knowing the convention, does "office space pricing at Burj Khalifa reached US$4,000 per sq ft (over US$43,000 per m²" refer to condominium sale prices, or yearly rent, or something else? If it is condominium sales, are there also annual assessments? Could someone add a clarification to the article's text? Thanks!

In the article, it states "The building has 57 elevators and 8 escalators.[44] The elevators have a capacity of 12 to 14 people per cabin, the fastest rising and descending at up to 10 m/s (33 ft/s) for double-deck elevators. However, the world's fastest single-deck elevator still belongs to Taipei 101 at 16.83 m/s (55.2 ft/s). Engineers had considered installing the world's first triple-deck elevators, but the final design called for double-deck elevators.[24] The double-deck elevators are equipped with entertainment features such as LCD displays to serve visitors during their travel to the observation deck.[56] The building has 2,909 stairs from the ground floor to the 160th floor.[57]."

However, the fastest elevators are not in Taipei 101 as they are in the Guangzhou CTF Finance Center, with its top speed of 21 meters per second. JonathanLi12 (talk) 15:11, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Under "Technical details", "154 + 9 maintenance" has a faulty link to #Floor_plan (it has an extra 's'). Removing the 's' should fix it! Thank you! Axmszr (talk) 23:37, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Done: I've removed the "s" so that the link now works as intended, hope this is of help! LooksGreatInATurtleNeck (talk) 22:23, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hymenocalis - not a desert plant

Under Features: Park, this line appears:

"Like the tower, the park's design was based on the flower of the Hymenocallis, a desert plant."

Hymenocallis is not a desert plant. It's native to the Americas, and while it's drought-tolerant once established, it grows mostly in swamps and other wet environments. 199.120.252.122 (talk) 18:31, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Find a reliabe source that explicitly states this, and we can discuss including it in the article. AndyTheGrump (talk) 03:01, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The floor plan is no longer correct.

There are 3 groups of floors with an observation deck that can be visited at the Burj Khalifa. (see: https://tickets.atthetop.ae/atthetop/en-us ). The highest group with an outdoor observation deck comprises of floors 152-153 and 154. This is called "World’s highest lounge". Secondly you have floor 148 with an observation deck and which is called "At the Top, Burj Khalifa SKY". Lastly you have floors 124 and 125 that can be visited, which is referred to as "At the Top, Burj Khalifa". LodeVdd (talk) 07:53, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Entry altered: Emails obtained under the Freedom of Information Act from Portugal's embassy in the UAE also confirmed that Laura Nunes had committed suicide from the 148th floor of the Burj Khalifa. It now reads: Ref 128: Emails obtained by Nine News from Portugal’s embassy in the UAE indicated she jumped from 148th floor of the Burj Khalifa. Note: 'indicated' not confirmed. Please don't cite your personal blog here - we aren't going to take anything contained in it into account, since we base content on sources meeting WP:RS guidelines only. As for the death concerned, the article already cites the Australian Nine News website regarding the emails you mention. If you wish to propose further content, you will have to be more specific. @LeonaLeeSykes: I've added the name and the information on the freedom of information laws, which are already provided in existing sources. Please provide a link to the coroner's report so that we can evaluate whether it is a reliable source or not. Liu1126 (talk) 16:11, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We tend to avoid citing coroner's reports and similar court documents, as primary sources which can sometimes be difficult for non-specialists to understand. I suspect the name may have been omitted previously out of privacy concerns. AndyTheGrump (talk) 16:20, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
