Peter England is an international menswear brand founded in 1889 in Ireland. Currently it is headed by Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail. It produces suiting fabric, wool and wool-blended fabrics.
It has more than 1000 stores in India.[2]
History
The brand Peter England was formed in 1889 when the company was tasked with outfitting Boer War. It first entered the Indian market in 1997, with bespoke and ready-made shirts aimed at young executives and office workers.[3]
It produces shirts, trousers, denims, suits and blazers, and t-shirts. There are more than 1000 stores in India.[3]
