Cantonese?

Ng is cantonese of Wu, but it is also Hokkien or Teochew of Huang. So why is this classified as a Hong Kong surname?--Huaiwei 11:25, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)

It is pronounced as /ŋ̩/ in Cantonese. — Instantnood 11:30, Apr 4, 2005 (UTC)
Its not an issue of pronounciation alone. Ng IS Huang in Hokkien.--Huaiwei 11:31, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)
