The Chahar Asyab District is situated in the southern part of the Kabul Province,Afghanistan.It borders with Lowgar Province to the South ,Wardak Province to the West,Paghman District to tne North-West,Kabul District to the North and Bagrami and Musayi districts to the West.The population is 32 500(2006) and live in villages.The district center is Qaleh-ye Na'im,located in the western end of the district.The Kabul River flows through the district.The agriculture is the main source of income,and the water,even with low table in the summer,is used for irrigation and the land is cultivated.Some people work in Kabul.The health care and the education are relatively good,but need serious improvement.
