As they say in the movies, "oh be-have". Seriously, though, we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so don't make joke edits, as you did to This nonexistent article. Some readers looking for a serious article might not find them amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do a bit seriously here. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write whatever you want (as long as it's not offensive). Maybe you should check out Wikipedia:Bad Jokes and Other Deleted Nonsense.

Ktron

KTron has been remade. Thank you.P2me 00:43, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, snide remarks in user messages won't win you many friends at Wikipedia. Besides, I seriously doubt that you spent an entire day on this, so your day was not wasted. Furthermore, I didn't actually delete the article — I simply flag it as likely meeting the requirements for a speedy deletion, but an administrator has to agree with me and actually delete the article. That's the way the procedure works, and I like it like that — I don't want to be the only one who decides the fate of a particular article.
Now to the main point: Your original article was too short to give people who are unfamiliar with Ktron what it is, in its proper context. Most Wikipedia readers have no idea of what the KDE desktop is, and how it works on Linux. I have added to your article, putting it in a proper category, adding a {{KDE-stub}} template and putting Wikilinks in. You indicated that Ktron was included in the Ubuntu Linux distribution; your article didn't indicate that, so I added it. If you could add some sort of illustration like a screen shot, that would improve the article. Realkyhick 21:56, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Of course I did not waste an entire day and apoligize for the rude comment on the user page.P2me 16:50, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
