George Ragan, better known by his stage name Johnny 3 Tears (also acronymized as J3T) is an American musician who raps and plays bass guitar for the band Hollywood Undead.

Early life

Ragan grew up in a rough neighborhood of Los Angeles, though his parents regularly gifted him with books for Christmas to aid his education.[1]

Career

In 2012, Ragan wrote the song "We Are" as a means to inspire youth and teen fans;[2] he started by writing the chorus for the song.[3]

Musical style and influences

Other ventures

Since 2010, Ragan and Hollywood Undead bandmate J-Dog (birth name Jorel Decker) have also run a cannabis business called "Dove and Grenade".[4] They began by growing in a few garages in North Hollywood and Sylmar.[4]
