A popular dancehall riddim popularized in 2002. This beat is characterized by syncopated clapping, and was givin its diwali name for it's influence from Bollywood dance music. It was credited to Jamaican deejay Steve "Lenky" Marsden [1], and appeared on several internatinal hit songs by Sean Paul, Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Lumidee, Brick & Lace and Wayne Wonder. The riddim has been featured in U.S. television commercials via Sean Paul's song "get busy"[2]
