Requesting Copyedit Help at Alliance Against Sexual Coercion

Hi, I found this article via the Random Article link. I've been trying to improve it and I looked into the history and it looks like it was started as a part of a class wikipedia article creation project. It needs more copyediting and work but I am not sure I am able to do everything it needs. Thank you for any help you can give? I hope what I have done so far is useful. Wife-selling needs a review..

Hello all, I recently stumbled upon the article wife selling, and it definitely needs a rewrite:

  • Intro is too long, too general, and lacks references.
  • While this may have been practiced /is perhaps still practiced, it wouls likely be good to differentiate a little. In most parts of the world, it is no longer possible to "sell a wife", to get a divorce, cover for debt, etc
  • The part on the Roman pater familias is inaccurate at best, and likely wrong.

article Human nature needs improvement per MOS:GNL and WP:GENDER

I was surprised to see that the article Human nature needs improvement per MOS:GNL and WP:GENDER -

article has many instances of "man" being used to mean "human being", "mankind" being used to mean "humanity", etc.

Please help improve this article per MOS:GNL and WP:GENDER. Thanks.
